		<description>Interesting that he suggests that America infiltrated the Russian Fed following the Soviet collapse by &quot;putting in their people&quot; (I believe were his words) and buying up Russian resources. I&#039;ve long heard the opposite theory- that infact the States failed to do more in the wake of the fall of the union and therefore are paying a most bitter price (geopolitically speaking) today. Either way, history of this scale remains to be seen and will take many years before a proper, studied view of it can make clear observations. 
I wish he had more directly answered the question regarding the success of Western European socialist parties vs. the lack thereof of the communist party in Russia.</description>
