your failure to answer means its fair for me to assume that you arent a journalist. And it means no apology and retraction, which I'd have readily given had you proven me wrong.

You havent. Answer clearly. I dont give a crap how much you earn; but being paid for articles is surely some indication of professionalism. If you havent been paid for writing in mags and newspapers, then you arent a journalist. I’m sorry for making an issue of this, but I firmly belive that you are being disingenuous when you call yourself a journalist. And I’m not trolling. You know I’m not.

I reiterate:

If you have been published in verificable print media in the form of formal articles for pay then please say so, indicating where. You claim to be a journalist, now back up that claim. You take the high ground in thread after thread here, claiming to be an analyst, journalist etc - now show us how that is the case.

Its Sean's perogative, not yours, to give me the red-card if he so wishes. I asked you a simple question. Answer it.

Ahem, maybe I should be apologising - but no. To most normal people, publishing means on paper Mike, not blogs/websites etc. If you say clearly you have had actual articles, not letters, published in journals/mags/newspapers, when I will withdraw my remarks. So please state clearly if that is the case or not. When scientists talk about publishing, they mean on paper; I'm sure journalists are the same.
