Not only did it fail to gain the WTO, Kudrin and other publicly said they had the deal done before the meetings even started, typical Soviet bald lies. <br/><br/>The reality is that not only did Russians give nothing on meat, they gave nothing on ANYTHING. Russians are now filled with an absolutely insane hubris because of their oil revenues, which mean nothing to the country as a whole except that the Kremlin has money it can use to build a Neo-Soviet Union.<br/><br/>They are going down the path of provoking the USA into a second cold war. The USSR, with an economy in rough parity and twice the population of the USA, lost the first one. Russia, with half the US population and 1/10th the economy, will be obliterated.<br/><br/>It's clear now, and I doubt you can deny this, that Russians were just waiting for the opportunity to display their hatred of the west and contempt for democracy, they never truly believed in either one. We saw this same thing happen when NATO went in to Serbia to stop the genocide, much to the shock of the Western Russophiles.<br/><br/>In short, we are seeing classic Neo-Soviet arrogance causing classic self-destructive Neo-Soviet blunders.
